This is the first time that I'm watching AGDQ live, after finding out about it last spring and watching a bunch of its archived runs on YouTube. I believe Cosmo's Wind Waker run was the first ever AGDQ speedrun that I watched in its entirety, so I'm glad to be able to watch it again; this time in H! D!
For the past year and a half, my dad has been trying to battle brain cancer. About two months ago, his doctor said that we've exhausted all known effective treatment methods and the tumor isn't getting any better. So now he's just making the best of his remaining days. Money is tight due to all of this, so I shouldn't be donating, but I can't help but donate a bit, despite it not being much, in hopes that this money can possibly help lead to some other family not having to go through the same ordeal that mine has. Sad to see that AGDQ2014 is almost over, but I'll be sure to tune into SGDQ2014 later this year. |
