In honor and memory of my aunt, who died 17 years ago, just before her 49th and my 12th birthday. She was a teacher who had breast cancer that metastasized into a brain tumor; she was sick for eight years, and she taught until two weeks before she died. I miss her every day, and with the help of the amazing runners of AGDQ, I hope that the pain of cancer will be eradicated forever. |
