This modest sum of dollars is donated in honor of Eric, the father of one of my best friends who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a year ago. He spent his life as an educator and I want to do what I can to ease his suffering and the suffering of others. All of the runners and others donating their time and effort are amazing.
