This donation is in honor of my uncle, Art, who passed away last year due to cancer. For 3 years he was in and out of the hospital and no one could figure out what was wrong with him. After his longest stint of being in the hospital for over a month straight, they finally diagnosed him with blood cancer and by that time, he was so weak and sick, he was unable to go through with the treatment. It was less than a week after the diagnosis that he passed away. I still miss him greatly and I hope that with all the money raised here can help prevent others from suffering as much as my uncle did in the last few years of his life.
