This is a lithophane of the Calamity Ganon Tapestry from Breath of the Wild. A lithophane is a thin sheet of translucent material made with variable thickness, so that when lit from behind different shades appear forming an image. Lithophanes were originally made of ceramic and date back to the 19th century. Modern 3d printing and LED lighting allows for new forms of lithophane art.
The image measures roughly 17.5 by 10 inches and is mounted in a frame with wire for hanging on a wall. The LED strip has 20 solid color options and 20 color-changing patterns, and is powered by 3 AA batteries (included). Lithophane and housing were designed and assembled by me.
