I got into speedrunning after finding speeddemosarchive on one of those websites that links you to random websites when you're bored. I have yet to break a world record for a game but I'm working on it. I didn't realize how inviting the speedrunning community was, and how great the runners are until I watched cosmo do a RBA OOT run at AGDQ. It's convinced me to start streaming my runs and hopefully someday get asked to be a participant. I wanted to thank all of the members of the community for getting me into a fantastic and rewarding hobby. |
