I have a distinct and vivid memory of getting Pokemon Blue at 8-years-old. The first day, I laid playing it on my gameboy for 9 or 10 hours. I don't remember how far I got, but I know it changed me as a person. I think I grew up a little bit that day. Maybe even grew my first beard hair.
