Fire Emblem is the series that got me through when I lost my mother to cancer in 2019. I didn't have the energy to talk to people, so I lurked in a lot of streams that year and I remember Kirbymastah's FE: Fates run from that year helping to really remind me of the fun in games and in watching people play them. I've never stopped being thankful for both the entertainment and the force of good that events like GDQ provide. Here's hoping that one day we finally find a way to fully prevent cancer. |
