This donation is dedicated to my younger brother, who we lost last February to cancer. He always mentioned how much he loved watching me play games when he was little, and so to bring him comfort in his last days I played games for him. The last game he asked me to play for him was Ocarina of Time and so I would go up to his bedroom every day to play a little more, even after he became uncommunicative. I had just beaten the Fire Temple and reunited with Link's sworn brother Darunia when my brother's heart finally gave out.
I don't know if early detection would have helped with his particular cancer, but we didn't detect it until it was too late so we will never know. GDQ has always held a special place in my heart so I try to donate every year, but the past 4 years have been unfortunately personal. Thank you PCF and GDQ for all you do to bring awareness and help.
