I'm so happy to be able to give a little bit towards PCF during the Legend of Zelda run. I lost my uncle to a very aggressive lung cancer only a few weeks after last year's AGDQ and it absolutely devastated me. I have distinct memories of sitting in his lap as a toddler watching him play through the NES Legend of Zelda, and it absolutely set me on my path to loving video games. As of this message, I have a sub 2 time using the Z1R consternation flags, and I'm only improving. I'm hoping to be confident enough in my skills by this time next year to join tournaments and be a part of the awesome Z1R community. Thank you GDQ for another amazing year of charity. Every little bit helps, and I'm happy to do what I can for those who might be more fortunate than my uncle. |
