This year's event is strangely fitting as _another_ family member was informed that they lost the war against cancer after a successful initial fight. They were given 2 to 4 years to live due to a _very_ late diagnosis.
Watching this even is always a joy and hearing the successful story or early detection makes me hopeful for the future in the fight against cancer. I'm splitting between my donation between more Mario Kart with Wave 3 and for a shot at representation of Roegadyn during the Final Fantasy XIV run tomorrow. |
