Before New Vegas was released, I snuck out of the house to attend a casino-themed preview event the night before a math final. Later that evening, when I could no longer effectively walk, my mother drove all the way into the city to pick me up. I guess I was her "unique weapon".
A little over a year ago, she was diagnosed with cancer. Fortunately, through early detection and surgery, she defeated that Deathclaw and has been cancer-free for nearly a year now. She still saves me, even when she needs saving herself. This one's for her. |
