GDQ events are some of my favourite weeks of the year and I’ve been looking forward to It Takes Two all week - however, this AGDQ hits a bit differently. Last May one of my best friends lost her 9 year battle with cancer just a few days past her 34th birthday. We always assumed we’d continue our silly adventures together well into our golden years like our grandparents & great-grandparents before us, so I donated 1$ for every extra year I wish we had gotten times 10 for the near-decade we did get to have since her battle had begun. Love you always and forever Amelia. |
