If I recall correctly, there was a request for stories of influential women educators in our lives. Well...I've got two! First was my computer science teacher in high school, Ms. Ryan. I fell in love with coding my sophomore year, but didn't have the requirements needed to continue the computer science track through junior and senior year. Ms. Ryan pulled lots of strings to make sure I could take her advanced classes. To this day, I credit much of the success I've had throughout my academic career to her and I couldn't be more grateful! Second, is my wife, who is a phenomenal university educator and science communicator. I couldn't be more proud of her and her efforts to make this world a better place for everyone.
