As a molecular biologist, you get well aquainted with cancer from a academic standpoint. However, two years ago, it got personal for me when my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Thankfully it was caught early, and after treatment she is cancer free. So many cases of cancer is preventable and treatable, and i am greatful for the modern treatment and screening methods we have. Thank you all for a great event, and for the generosity of all donors! |
