This donation is made on behalf of my mother. I told her about the Prevent Cancer Foundation, and she asked me to donate $250 on her behalf in memory of my father who lost his battle with cancer in early 2019. My Father never watched GDQ, but he was aware of its existence, and told me on multiple occasions that he found it very aspirational seeing ways that my generation and those younger than me were so creative in finding ways to use our passions to make the world a better place. Our family misses him, and we hope that this donation will help in the fight to have less folks have a story like ours to tell in the future. |
