In 2013, I lost my grandfather to skin cancer. In 2020, my aunt was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and lymphoma took another loved one on November 30. One of my best friends nearly lost her mother to cancer in the past decade, and there are countless others who have suffered or are currently suffering...it's terrible. Cancer doesn't care who you are or what's going on in your life or anything else, it just takes and takes and takes. My finances are tight after the nightmare that was 2020, but I still want to do what I can to help erase cancer forever. I hope and pray that someday in the not too distant future, no one else will have to grieve the loss of a loved one to cancer.Thank you GDQ staff, volunteers, runners, and viewers.
