When my disability emerged in my early 20's, I could easily have been homeless or worse, if not for a 4-time, cancer survivor who opened his home to me. I'm forever grateful to the Newmans for their generosity and I hope events like this and the great work by the Prevent Cancer foundation allow me to see cancer eradicated in my lifetime. More healthy people, survivors and people who never need develop the disease, means more good left in the world. Thank you to the GDQ crew, organizers, and runners for all your great work.
