I am staying up waaaayyyy too late to be doing this! I made sure that I donated this year because I missed last year!
My mother had suffered from non-Hodgkin's lymphoma around the same age that I am now, which is 30 years old. She does not talk about his time in her life and most people don't know that she had cancer. My mother has long term health problems related to the cancer treatment that she received. I hope that some day my children, Her granddaughters ages 4 and 2, can say that all forms of cancer can be cured due to the research of Prevent Cancer Foundation.
