I watch as much of every GDQ marathon as I can, but this AGDQ has had more of my appreciation than any other. My father was recently diagnosed with lung cancer, and is due to go into surgery to remove a tumour, along with half his lung, a few hours after this marathon is scheduled to finish. Special thanks to all the runners, crew and viewers for supporting the Prevent Cancer Foundation, so that fewer people need to go through the fear and uncertainty that we're currently experiencing. |
