Two months ago I lost my 28 year old boyfriend due to a previously unknown heart condition. We met 10 years ago at Dreamhack (the huge LAN party in Sweden) and gaming was always a big part of our relationship. Everything from trading Pokémon in bed to knife-killing each other in Battlefield.
For the last few years we always watched GDQ while we had the chance. We never missed the Pokémon run no matter what time of day (or night…) it was played. One month ago I somehow managed to graduate med school and I’ve worked as a doctor for two weeks now. The combination of all this made it an easy choice to donate money in his memory to Doctors without borders through SGDQ. This is from friends, family and kind strangers. Rest in peace my beloved |
