My very first memory of video games was Super Smash TV. It was the only game that I was capable of playing co-op with my older brother. We even used the in-game lingo to call out powerups. "Bingo" for a bomb, "Dude" for an extra life, you get the picture. I still play it often but never thought it would end up being streamed during a GDQ.
So, in honor of one of my all-time favorite games being played, I would like to offer the following run incentive: I will donate and additional $1 for every extra life and bomb that is collected, provided that the runners shout "Dude" and "Bingo" when they get them. I will also add $2 for every key that it picked up. If the runners qualify for and divert to the Pleasure Dome, I will DOUBLE the total. If the GDQ hosts will allow a short demo of the mode unlocked by reaching the Pleasure Dome I will TRIPLE the donation. Good luck boys, you'll need it! |
