Several years ago, my father battled bladder cancer. We were very fortunate that he had excellent healthcare coverage, but many people do not have access to these same benefits and are forced to depend on outlets like Gofundme or to go untreated. I look forward to a day when everyone has universal access to quality healthcare to help them through their own trying times. Best of luck to all of the runners, as we speedrun our way to a future in which we can completely prevent cancer! |
