I lost my dad to stage 4 brain cancer on February 23rd 2009, and I can honestly say it was one of the hardest days of my life to get through. I only wish I had a bit more than $5 to dedicate to his memory, but alas, money is not a plentiful resource in my world as of late, and this is sadly all I have to give. Though I may have very little to offer, I want to be a part of the solution in whatever way I am able, because that is the kind of man my dad raised me to be.
I’ve been a gamer ever since my dad bought me my very first Nintendo Entertainment System at a garage sale so many years ago. I am truly happy that the hobby I have dedicated my life to has brought about such wonderful things as these GDQ events, that have been able to do so much good in the lives of so many.
