The speed at which this impromptu marathon was put together is astounding. I live in Houston, and though I was not personally displaced by the flooding, I've seen the effects of Harvey across the city, especially due to my position at a local media outlet. Wanted to send my sincere gratitude to the organizers, the tech crew, the runners, and those donating for coming together so quickly to help those in need. I'm timing this donation to come right before the Doom run, as that is one of the first video games I ever played, and it holds a special place in my heart, much like GDQ, and much like the city of Houston, where I have lived for 4 years now. Thanks to everyone for coming together during such a trying time!
