As I watch this impromptu stream, a line from a book comes to mind. It goes as follows:
Take the Universe and grind it to the finest powder, and sieve it through the finest sieve, and then show me one atom of justice, one molecule of mercy. Until such time as we might do this, I'd hold this event as a great proof that mercy exists. While mainstream media focuses on the hate in world, events like this show how much more powerful all the good is. Also, if anyone can name where that quote was from, I'll donate another $50 |
