Chrono Trigger is one of my favorite games of all time, and the sequence with Lucca's past, especially if the player failed, always stuck with me as a kid. Nearly every other heavy moment in this game tells the player "You can fix this later!" while that moment instead says "No fixing the past, but you can be better going forward."
