In my first few years of life, my great grandmother was diagnosed with Leukemia. That was years ago when different types of cancer prevention methods were hardly available. At her age, she felt that even if she did survive the treatment, her final memories of her lifetime would have been to unpleasant to bear. She decided to refuse treatment, but she did die shortly afterwards. The entire point of this story is to say: It's 2017 people, let's stop cancer in its tracks! |
