I never got to meet my grandfather because of melanoma and my father's been in remission for years. Recently my best friends mother, a second mother to me, and a dear co-worker of mine were diagnosed with breast cancer. Both are currently going through chemo and are some of the sweetest women I've ever known. Selfless, bright, and wonderful.
Cancer sucks but they smile everyday through it. Let's strive for a future without cancer! <3 |
