This brings me up to $60 for the marathon, and I'd like to dedicate it all to a titan of Chicago radio. I spend a lot of time listening to the radio while driving around for work, and WXRT's DJ Terri Hemmert is the voice in my ear for a lot of that time. Just this past Thursday, Terri announced that she has cancer, but fortunately it was discovered very early, and the outlook is very good. I wish her a successful procedure and a speedy recovery. |
