Shortly after I began my first playthrough of E33, my grandfather was placed into hospice. I beat the game the day after he passed away. This games narratives about mourning and pushing forward in the face of tragedy helped me process my own feelings of loss. We must keep pushing forward, for all those children who will come after us. Like Spike said, they are our future, and it's our job to help them.
