Every 6 months, GDQ comes around and reminds me how connected I am in a wold that seems determined to isolate me from others. The ending of this event is always bittersweet, secure in the knowledge that we have come together to so some good in the world, but also knowing that it will be another six months before we come together in this noble cause.
