Last year, a cancer currently without a cure took my uncle from us. Its still hard to even type about without tears. Watching the marathon this year started very bitter-sweet because of that. Then the moments started. Kara's iconic inability to say no to the intrusive thoughts (shout-out "Big Lady") brought tears of laughter, Fu's Bonanza Karaoke brought tears of joy, and every run I watch bringing more light to the darkness of this world. GDQ brings out the best nerds, to do our best at raising money for a great cause. Thank you GDQ, thank you Chat, thank you PCF! One day I hope the donating we do today will make all cancer curable. I will miss my uncle Joe forever, but I will also love all of you forever and Love Conquers All. |
