A friend of mine had a recurrence of lung cancer a few years ago, and I had to take him to Houston's MD Anderson many times. He lost his battle at 29 yrs old, but my father is smoker of 40 years and a colon cancer survivor after undergoing chemo 2 years ago. I learned that cancer doesn't discriminate; young, old, smoker or vegan, it doesn't care.
Here's to my favorite hobby contributing to further research into a disease that can affect anyone anytime. Can't wait for the Zelda and F-Zero runs! Good luck to everyone doing runs throughout the week! |
