This is my second year watching AGDQ, and the first year I've been able to donate toward the cause. Waking up to DKR with one of my favourite runners is a great way to start the marathon for me.
Cancer has personally affected my family this past year, and it's an awful disease with an equally awful treatment. My aunt has beaten breast cancer, but she's been left so sick after the treatments that she still only has a few months to live. Here's to finding a way to get rid of cancer so no one else has to ever experience this horrible illness. Best of luck to all the runners, and here's hoping that after the phenomenal SGDQ donations that AGDQ can reach such heights for this great cause. |
