I have been watching GDQ since AGDQ 2011!!! I can't believe it has been so long... In my lifetime I have seen my grandfather fight with skin cancer and lose, my grandmother fight with breast cancer and win, my aunt fight with colon cancer and lose, and my uncle fight with skin cancer and win. Cancer does not care who, when, where, or why. It could be when you're young, it could be when you're middle aged, and it could be when you're old. It matters now more than ever, when the sciences are being pressured for less, to support if you can. Take the time if you can to have yourself checked out, and suggest to your loved ones to do the same. It very well could save your life, and theirs. Events like these matter so much and I look forward to them throughout the year, every year. Trans Rights are Human Rights. |
