At the end of Jan 2025, my home state lost a legend - and baseball lost an icon - to small cell lung cancer. Ueck was the soundtrack to summer for baseball fans across Wisconsin, and I can think no better way to remember him than through a donation that will help prevent others from having to fight the disease that he fought so bravely. So here's $10 for each year he gave us on the radio. Years of laughs, of stories, of memories for multiple generations of baseball fans. Oh, and $1 for each of his years actually playing the game (and catching fly balls with a tuba during batting practice.) |
