I discovered Ponce the cat next to--you guessed it--the dumpster in the alley behind my apartment. He was speedrunning a pile of kibble someone had left on a splayed out Pokemon instruction manual, so I knew he'd fallen on hard times. I scooped him into my home that day. That was 10 years ago, and to the purpose of the marathon, he left us this past May courtesy of a mass in his head. We treasured all the years spent watching GDQ together, him in my lap, though maybe he was more snoozing than watching. Until now I didn't realize a dono would be a fantastic way to honor him.
