Hey GDQ! The developers from the former studio Monolith have a New Objective: Donate for Charity. It's an honor to see one of our games on the GDQ stage, and we had to donate in support of this awesome run. Here's a quick list of fun facts from the development of the game! The art team visited a real nuclear power plant for photo references. The tram does not move, the world moves around it. The explosions are all hand keyed animation instead of simulation, as we didn't have the tech. And lastly, in the Hammerthology promotional music videos, a silly stunt left a real dent in the office walls that lasted years! No One Lives Forever, but thanks to passionate fans like speed runners, Monolith lives on in your hearts. It means the world to be remembered and included in one of gaming's most prolific events.
