#heymf Starting in the middle of last September, I developed a number of frightening changes in my health-- difficulty maintaining my balance, loss of fine motor control in my left hand, and I would get carsick just from moving around the house or tilting my head. An MRI determined that I had developed a kind of tumor called a hemangioblastoma in the lower-left of my brain, which had produced a fluid cyst that had displaced the surrounding brain tissue. Fortunately, it was caught before it could cause further harm, and it could be removed with surgery. Since the operation, I've regained all the abilities I'd lost and I'm back to my old self, aside from the hair not having grown back at the incision site. Early detection probably saved my life, or at least my ability to live it comfortably. Remember, y'all-- if something seems off, get it checked out. Besides the doctors who helped me through the whole process, I'd like to thank the authorblues Discord for keeping me company throughout my recovery, and, of course, authorblues himself for cultivating such a welcoming community. And I'd also like to give my regards to my old friends at Coin Return; I hope you're doing well, and rest assured that I'm still subjecting people to my walls of text about the game prototypes I'm working on. !ssob yE |
