Joe, I remember watching you speedrun this years ago and thinking to myself, "How did I even come close to finishing this when I was a kid? This game's impossible!" I didn't really have any fond memories of it until you began streaming it. Now, between the incredibly supportive runners around it, your passion for the game and its source material, and watching the Joker get publicly humiliated repeatedly (which he deserves, he's a jerk), it's become a weird comfort. And now you're at the GDQ main stage showing all sorts of people this weird little speedrun gem, and it makes my heart sing seeing you accomplish a dream of yours. Thank you for showing me and many others a whole new side to this game. Best of luck in your run, and hopefully you won't have to explain why they call him Mister Freeze in this game 😉 #batgoblin |
