(Adapted a copy pasta about a balk in baseball) 1. You can't just be up there and just doin' a regrab like that. 1a. A regrab is when you 1b. Okay well listen. A regrab is when you regrab the 1c. Let me start over 1c-a. The speedrunner is not allowed to do a motion to the, uh, Mario, that prohibits the Mario from doing, you know, just trying to do Mario things. You can't do that. 1c-b. Once the Speedrunner is in the jump, they can't be over here and say to the Mario, like, "I'm gonna regrab ya! You better watch your butt!" and then just be like he didn't even do that. 1c-b(1). Like, if you're about to regrab and then don't, you have to still regrab. You cannot not regrab. Does that make any sense? 1c-b(2). You gotta be, grabbing motion of the Mario, and then you just, regrab it. 1c-b(2)-a. Okay, well, you can have the Mario up here, like this, but then there's the regrab you gotta think about. 1c-b(3). Okay seriously though. A regrab is when the Speedrunner makes a movement that, as determined by, when you do a move involving the grab and Mario of 2. Do not do a regrab please. |
