My 90-year-old grandfather was recently diagnosed with cancer, and my whole family went to visit him in the hospital two weeks ago. Turns out he had an undetected case of COVID as well, and the whole family got it while we were there to see him.
Everyone seems to have recovered from COVID well, but this has obviously been a tough time for our family. Thanks to GDQ for making this rough time more bearable for us. Here's to preventing as many situations like my grandfather's from happening in the future as we can. Prevention or early detection could certainly have helped him out. |
