Please mispronounce my name as badly as you want.
My first "Speedrun" was as a little girl, playing Ocarina of Time. I had never seen or heard of a speedrun before, but had the need to go fast anyway. During the early cutscene where the Deku Tree tells you that you were too late to save him, I thought I just wasn't fast enough. What do you MEAN doomed before I even started?? What if I got there sooner? I started a new game, and did everything as fast as I could to try and save him! Unfortunately, as you could have guessed, it didn't work. But I did my best! Maybe with how fast he's going, and all these glitches, ZFG would have had better luck! Here's $10 for little 10 year old me who would have been blown away. Also, tell Vidya I said hi! |
