A bit of trivia here. FF gets it name from its creator sakaguchi san, to reflect his feelings during development. it was his last chance to develop a successful game, it was quite literally his final attempt at making it as a game developer. additionally during development his mother passed and he wanted to reflect that in the game with aerith's iconic death and relay that it's ok to move on even though someone close may pass on. |
