I donated $25 a moment ago and forgot to write a comment, so I guess I just have to donate another $5. Both donations are dedicated to my younger brother, who lost his life to synovial sarcoma almost 2 years ago. One of his favorite things to do when he was little was watch me play games, and so in his final months he asked me to play games for him. The last game we beat was Final Fantasy 6, which he asked for as he hadn't beaten it and he knew it was my favorite in the series.
His favorite game was Final Fantasy 7, and he absolutely loved Remake. Rebirth was released on my birthday, roughly one month after he passed. I know he would have loved Rebirth and wish he could have gotten the chance to play it. His cancer took him at 31. I can only wonder what early detection could have done for him. I hope my donations can help even one person to avoid going through what our family went through. My brother loved GDQ. Though we were only able to watch a couple runs together, AGDQ 2023 was one of the last memories I have with him. Both my donations go to Tifa as the Gold Saucer Date Partner.
