This event has always meant a lot, but with the passing of my uncle in 2023 events like this hit just a little more. Luckily, one of my best friends beat pancreatic cancer a couple years ago so cancer doesn't feel as hopeless as it once did. For my uncle who is at peace, and my friend who is still here despite it all. |
