Not a first time watcher or a first time donator but I have had a run in with cancer.
Last year I was feeling out of sorts. After going to the doctor it turned out that I had a hormone imbalance which lead them to finding a neoplasm. After getting it looked at by an oncologist they confirmed it was a rare form of cancer. My surgery was scheduled and as of now all things look clear. Now it's just post surgery monitoring for 2 years. The fact it was rare was initially unnerving because the survival rate for what I had was very low but the fact they found it when they did means I lucked out. That's why things like AGDQ are so important. I've been watching for years and because of my treatment I'll be watching for many years more. Also, my favourite things about Bulbasaur is how it says it's name in the anime and that I always name mine Bubbasaur when I catch or choose one. Let's beat cancer together! |
