Last year I was fortunate enough to attend AGDQ in person. After driving north over two hours into a snow storm, patching a flat in freezing weather, and cheering on speedrunners the whole time, I was fortunate enough to enjoy Majora's Mask, car camp, and then wake up to watch the remainder of the event, including sticking around Sunday for teardown!
I moved 12 hours away from Pittsburgh later in the year, and although I had full plans of making the trip, it just wasn't in the cards this time (next year for sure!) As much as it pains me to be watching from home this year, I have the benefit of what I saved back for the trip. So, I would love to pass along the cost of my drive, my admission, and all of my lunch money! Thank you everyone for what you do; from the speed runners, to chat, and especially the staff and volunteers that makes this all happen as well as Prevent Cancer Foundation for all the work you do! You rock! Lets beat cancer together! |
