For now, a sonnet in dedication of the Pokemon Blue category: In middle school I got a brand new game. Professor Oak had quite the bold request: To catch 'em all is quite the daunting aim, But I resolved to be the very best! With Squirtle's help my quest would now begin, Then Pikachu and Caterpie soon caught. I thought of all the badges I would win And all the crazy battles to be fought. First Brock, then Misty and Lieutenant Surge. Next Erika, and Koga cloaked in mist. Sabrina, Blaine, and then who would emerge? It's Giovanni, what a wild twist! Jump forward to today and who'd have thought In backwards order badges could be got! |
